multiple people receiving reminder notifications for a shared Outlook calendar

We have 3, maybe 4 people who wish to receive the same reminder notification for a shared calendar entry.
They each have their own Exchange/Outlook account and we currently use a whole different account as a shared calendar (eg. STLF.Shared) that is specifically for this area of law and nothing more.
Is it possible to make it so each of the 3 (4) people receive a reminder as if it was for their own calendar?
If so, how do we do it?  We would prefer not to pay for a 3rd party program, but if necessary, so be it.
Thanks
PS... our exchange server is 2003 and the clients use 2003, 2007, and 2010 (depending on the age of the computer)

I changed the exchange setup for the account the calendar was created in to give full mailbox permissions.
I've also given "owner" permissions for the calendar itself in outlook.
No dice.

What email client are you using?
2003/2007/2010?
If you try it on another PC does it work, or possibly another email clinet

Me personally, 07.
There is two other 07's, one 03 and one 2010 clients.

Could it be because our exchange server is only 2003?

what I did find is that I can display the calendars side-by-side and drag and drop the event...
Maybe the "copy to my calendar" option just isn't available with our configuration.
Thanks for your help.

Not a accurate answer, but the solution we have decided on is to give one user full permissions to the "Shared" account so they can create calendar items and tasks and invite (assign) other users.
Thanks for the "push in the right direction"...
