Expert suggested me in vmware linux we add disk like this

in the situation where vmware is not there like in linux

what we will do..to add disk

Do you have an actual new HDD to add in? (Alternative would be that you have some spare space on an existing HDD).
If a new HDD, you need to partition it first.
Either way, you need to format partitions.
Then as root you can mount the new disk(s). You can make this permanent by editing /etc/fstab.

Please post more about what you actually want to do
