Pull content from wordpress rss feed into iPad app

Hi Experts!!

I am currently developing a wordpress site for a small local newspaper. It will have rss feeds to read the information from other sources.

I was asked to also create an iPad app that pulls this content from the website to display it on the iPad.

I've seen that several newspapers use the same kind of iphone/ipad apps, same menu structure, same way to present content. I was wondering if there is an already made solution for an ipad app that "connects" to certain rss feed to display its content?

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Thank you very much darbid. I will check out those links and get back to you. I am really looking for something already done, that I can just plug into an rss feed, not developing it or compiling it, but I will check it out.

Ok that is called "a developer".  I am not sure exactly what your expectations are.  In the above links there is one free example and one (in the video) really good example, but I think you are going to have to change and compile anything you find to make it work the way you want it to.

Darbid, I will review those links in detail. The reason why I thought there was already something "done" was because I've seen two newspapers that use exactly the same platform for their mobile apps. Same menu structure, same navigational pattern, etc.. An these two are competitors.

I'll get back with more comments on your links.
