Time Zone Issues With Calendar Appointments On Mobile Device

Hi Guys,

I have a user in South Australia with a mobile device (Samsung Galaxy S2) that synchronizes with his corporate Exchange email account. The server it synchronizes with is based in Melbourne. Therefore there is a time zone difference of 30 minutes (more during the DST period). The problem I have is when he sets his calendar appointments in Outlook 2007 they appear on his mobile device in relation to Melbourne time even though his phone is set to his local time zone.

I would like to know if there is a way to resolve this or if anyway knows of a successful work around (without the user having to consider Melbourne time when setting appointments).
