I've copied my Windows 7 partition to a new drive (first created a partition and then copied all files with linux live cd) When I start windows on my new drive it takes a long time before the desktop is shown. The windows login in screen does load normally (fast), so the problem is after I login. When the desktop is loaded desktop.ini is opened two times in notepad. What's going on here?<br />

Windows 7 takes long time to boot

Windows 7 is an operating system from Microsoft. Features include multi-touch support, a redesigned Windows Shell with a new taskbar, referred to as the Superbar, a home networking system called HomeGroup, and performance improvements.
