What to install first

Hello,

I have a Windows 2008R2 server installed, and I want to install SQL 2008 R2 but I haven't yet installed the Active Directory Services, is this wise to do this in this order? The reason why, is that this server is ment for migration from a server 2003 and this is only a later moment possible so I think I install SQL 2008 already, so I do not do this part when the migration starts.

Hope someone can tell me what the wisest thing to do is.

Regards,
Microsoft Legacy OS

Thanks for the advice, personally I thought is was also better to install AD first, but I was not sure.

Thanks!
