Outlook 2010 AutoComplete Causing NDR

Hi guys,

I've got an issue where when typing in an e-mail address and using the Autocomplete feature it generates an NDR saying you do not have rights to send to this person. If you type in the e-mail address and do NOT use the Autocomplete option, the e-mail sends fine. I have deleted the AutoComplete file and the folder it resides in for Outlook 2010 and the issue remains. Any ideas?

With outlook 2010 the autocomplete is built-in with outlook so if you need to clear the list you need to do this by the outlook options.

Here is a post with the exact place with screens:

Hi guys.

I have cleaned out the autocomplete but it's started happening again. I have a bit more info now.
Here is scenario 1:
Person A forwards an e-mail to Person B with a mailto: link to Person C.
Person B clicks the mailto link, types up an e-mail and sends it to Person C.
1 second later, Person B Gets an NDR back saying you cannot send to this person.
Person B then types out Person Cs e-mail in an entirely empty e-mail without using autocomplete or clicking the mailto link. Person C recieves the email this time.

Here is scenario 2:
Person A types an e-mail to Person B. They see the autocomplete option pop up, and they click it.
Person A sends the complete email.
1 second later, Person A gets an NDR back saying you cannot send to this person.
Person A opens up a blank e-mail and types Person Bs e-mail address out manually ignoring autocomplete.
Person A sends the complete email
Person B recieves the e-mail.

I hope this clarifys where the issues are met.

We are experiencing the exact same scenario, with execption our setup is Windows XP with Outlook 2007 talking to Exchange server 2010.  The diagnostic in Outlook web 2010 shows more information (see below), but not very helpful as a diagnostic.

This only appears to be happening to computers with Outlook 2007 as the email client.
