IE6 keeps closing pop up window

Hi,

Our users need to use IE6 for an application called quartz(uses hsbc site to link into data) so installing a different browser will not solve this one. OS is XP.

One of them is getting an error when trying to log into a HSBC site. He clicks on Login and it opens another window, which shortly afterwards closes....can anyone suggest what might be causing this... at one point it opened and allowed us to login....but not again. Really odd one.... I have uninstalled IE6 via add/remove componenets without luck. Installed Java and .net too..
