RDP Remote Control Windows 7

Has MS fixed the RDP 6.1.7600 remote control problems yet? Ever since I started using Windows 7, or XP SP3, I am unable to use TS Manager to remote control a users session when connected to the TS from my desktop. Many articles, no fix. I remotely administer Terminal Server farms using Server 2003, Server 2003 R2, Server 2008 SP1 and SP2, and Server 2008 R2. I need to be able to shadow my clients. Is there any fix for this. At one time, I removed RDP 6.1.7600 and downgraded to RDP ver 5, that seemed to solve problem. Has MS fixed this yet, or do I have to downgrade all my techs to older version?

I stumbled across this hotfix: You can try this:

Have looked at this hot fix previously. The problem seems to be in the machine that the administrator connects from, not in the Terminal Server. Variations of the same problem, when connected to Server 2003 SP2 all the way to Server 2008 R2. However, older versions of RDP Client work with all versions. Does MS expect everyone to hot fix ALL severs when they change the RDP Client? Then, if I update or fix all severs will all older clients still work? Is there any definitive fix for the problems?

Ya i see, As far as I am aware, Microsoft still does not have a definitive fix...the issue seems to be from service pack 1 in win 7....I will obviously let you know if I find anything or hear anything

RDP versions not backwards compatible to clients. Microsoft will probably not fix older clients
