sysprepping server 2008 with exchange 2010
I am wondering if installing server 2008 and all updates, install programs, install exchange 2010 with sp1. If you run sysprep and clone the virtual disk, will this work? why or why not?

Sysprep and CLONE after installing udpates, and before installing any applications, especially Exchange 2010 which integrates with AD.
You need to install Exchange Servers manually, not via clones for quickness.
I didn't think this would work, but would be sweet if it did so I wouldn't have to go through the setup process everytime I reinstall exchange in my lab. thanks for the quick response. so I guess I"ll have to sysprep and clone the base image with server 2008r2 alone.
