Finish Migrate Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010

We have an Exchange 2003 Server on Windows Server 2003 Standard.  We got a new server with Exchange 2010 on Windows Server 2008 Standard.  We ran DC Promo on the new server to make it a Domain Controller and to copy over AD, DNS records, etc.  We moved all the mailboxes over to the new Exchange 2010 server.  Next step is to remove the old server from the Domain and get rid of it.  What should my next steps me?  Do I run DC Promo to demote it?  Do I have to run any other tools or make any changes?  Thanks!

So
Step 1-Uninstall Exchange 2003 on original server.
Step 2-Run DC Promo on original server to demote it.

Is this correct?  Anything else I need to worry about?
