Instructions for using Truecrypt for Dropbox
Could someone please provide some basic step by step instructions on how I can use Truecrypt with Dropbox. Please assume I have never used Truecrypt before and go through the steps. Are there are downsides to using it with dropbox also?

I use Encrypter Pro with dropbox. It's nice because there is a phone version and a Windows version, so I can use a keyboard when I'm at my desk and then access it from my phone when I'm away.

Thanks I'll give it a try. The files that I want to put into a truecrypt folder or lock, are not themselves password protected, but a few maybe....not sure if that answers yoru question?
I was asking about files because Encrypter Pro only works with simple text. For me that's all I want, a couple clicks and I'm looking at my passwords...however, if you need to store encrypted files, then you'd have to do so with a separate tool (as I do). TrueCrypt will meet the needs for both of course, I just like to get to my passwords super quick.

Hi guys
Firstly, apologies for the extended delay. This is where I am with it.
Ok I have tried the latest versions of TC on both a mac and Windows 7, using the latest OS and TC versions for both.
I remember when I tried using TC a few years ago on my USB, I didnt have to load TC and all that. I could have sworn I just click on the container on the USB and it asked me for a password before it opened the container. Maybe this wasnt TC but some other software. Do I always have to mount it and load TC before I can click on a the file container? Its really annoying me!.
