MS outlook not to quit when hitting "X"

Is there a way to keep MS outlook 2003 from quiting when you hit "X". I know some programs will run in the background if you hit "X" such as Communicator or Vuze as an example. I would like to minimize MS Outlook without exitting the program. Is this possible? Unfortunately I can't change the program I have since this is on a work computer. but I can change parameters if need be.

Just thought I should clarify that my post has the exact same solution in it as John's. Points should most likely be split.
