Define mapping between xml and object in other xml

I have a large xml(xmlfile1) which needs to be mapped to object. Now I am planning to define the mapping between xml(xmlfile1) and object in other xml(xml2) so that even if in future the xml(xmlfile1) changes, i can just change the second xml without affecting the object. Could u please provide ur suggestions or resources on this?

Thank You

I don't understand what you mean by "object". What sort of object? What language and above all for what purpose.

Whenever I'm given a large XML file I run it through xsd.exe from Microsoft (there are others as well just google)  which produces me a schema (not terribly good but it is at least a start) and this tells me the structure of the XML file and what elements and attributes it has.

its a c# class obj.

If you try/buy Altova Mapforce it will allow you to map the XML files and create an XSLT file or generate the C# code doing the transformation
