There has to be another designation name for the laptop. I believe its the P-171s and here is the Gateway driver download link

sparkmaker - Thanks for the tip you helped me in by saying the P and then i look under that laptop and see that is is the P7075U

So hopefully if i do a search on gateway for that model i will have all the drivers thanks.
Crap that model also is not listed on gateway. They do have for the P Series but not the P7075U What gives ? what can i do now ?
best contact gateway imo
Did you try the drivers I linked to as they may work since they do follow the MS2252 fx series line.
Yes i did but they did not work i got the video driver one to work since i seen a sticker on the laptops saying it was a Gforce etc. But the Wireless Lan and Wired Lan and SMBus and Storage one i think for the card reader still aren't working and the drivers there do not work.
I also can not contact Gateway when i try these are the problems i have i enter my serial number it then says my computer and correct model number and everything but says it is no longer eligible for phone support.
And says i can use the other option like email and or online chat.

When i try those it ask me to give my name and email and ask again for laptop model number etc just like when trying to get drivers and does not list my model and i cant even talk to a dam support person >:(

Please what can i do i can not even call gateway and i need these divers this is crazy why does my model not list :(
Did you install the chipset drivers from that link, sometimes that has to be installed before other components will install properly.
try this to identify the devices :

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Information.
Now select  "Components" and highlight "Problem Devices".
All hardware devices with a driver problem will be listed here.
Make a note of the first line of the PNP Device ID line of the entry. It will show a Vendor number and a Device number (VENxxxxDEVxxxx) both four digits long.
Look up those numbers here:   http://www.pcidatabase.com/index.php

This will tell you the manufacturer and the chip number.
Check the manufacturer's website first or google them - or post them here
i did try the chip set drivers and still the other drivers did not work :(
Thanks Nobus for giving some more suggestions unfortually i am so tired!

I got to get to sleep but will get all that tomorrow and post hope u can help then thanks :)
have a good rest - and see you later
this may help..... as some are saying model number could be different

also i have read that people who cannot get driver fully working - upgrade to windows 7 and the OS sorts everything out... well done MS for once
