You will struggle doing this on a field in a Form or on a Page.

If you are doing this as an export in a file for example you could use the format expression.

An example would be;

MESSAGE(FORMAT(1.232423, 15, '<Precision,0:0><Standard Format,0>'));

Above would return '1'

MESSAGE(FORMAT(1.232423, 15, '<Precision,2:6><Standard Format,0>'));

Above would return '1.232423'

You could then put code on the export to identify if you have a whole (integer) or decimal value and use the correct format accordingly...

T U adrianakers,
i have a lot of experience in .net and crystal report, but i am still new in navision so please take this into consideration.
no i want to do that on the report at design time.
in my report i have a lot of fields and on the one of fields i what to set this special format.

You can always use a global variable on your report and set it to the associated value. Then just make sure you are showing this variable on the report.

The global variable would be of type Text and then you could use the format expressions mentioned above.
