access log not generated on my direact admin panel

i have a server with da panel
all other log file are generated fine  but the apache access log is not generated properly
can you tell me what is the process for enable the logging

For DA , there are multiple apache logs , one for each user and one for the main apache process
Search the DA forums , they are ALOT of help http://www.directadmin.com/forum/

sure np , i use DA myself , which log are you after and i'll tell you exactly where it is

ok, basically if you have the main access_log file in /var/log/httpd/ and doesn't seem to be logging anything , on a multiple ip system , this file is from the main servers ip and doesn't , or rather shouldn't be logging to much. The complete logs come up in each users account/path.
