Outlook client changing Outlook anywhere settings

I recently setup a 2010 Exchange on my network and migrated my 2003 mailboxes across. Everything mostly went fine.  One issues I have is that some of the users how use Outlook to get mail over https and also connect locally are having an issue with the connection settings URL changing to our mail address suffix, which is not the right URL.

So basically they sent the connection URL to 'mail.domainname.ie' and when the log in to the LAn then setting seems to change to 'domain-name.com' for some reason.

Is there a setting on the server that I need to change?

Actually, I think I've found it in the client access properties of the server configuration.
I will change this and get back with a report.
