I have 2 internet connections connected to a Fortigate 50B. I created a virtual ip on wan1 for port 25 to the server, so that the server can receive mails.

But when wan1 dies, it's switches to the other provider on wan2. So i want to create a virtual ip for port 25 on the other wan (wan2). But when i try to do that I get an error  "A duplicate entry already exists."

What am i doing wrong?

On the second virtual IP rule are you selecting WAN2 for the interface and specifying the external static IP for the WAN2 connection (instead of leaving the external IP to 0.0.0.0)?
