Copy production Job Scheduler to UAT
Hi,
Is there a way in which i can import my entire job scheduler that we have setup on production to a different server which has UAT running on.
The UAT server has a scheduler already setup but it is out of date and not in sync with production. Instead of going through each job and setting it up we were hoping to copy the entire production scheduler and dump into UAT and make changes for UAT.
Has anyone done this before? Can this be done?
Regards
Ali.

Hi,
I should have been more clear in my post above. I am actually referring to the Advance Job Scheduler which we have installed on our machine. We want to move the schedule that we have setup in the AJS from our production server to UAT server.

The default scheduler, as seen by using WRKJOBSCDE, is an object in library QUSRSYS named QDFTJOBSCD of type *JOBSCD. If you are absolutely certain that you want to replace it, do a restore object RSTOBJ from one server to the other. Depending on release level, an IPL may be required after the restore to get the new schedule.
