My Buffalo TeraStation is no longer booting up. It froze and when i restarted it manually it loaded the RAM fine, and got to a point were it says Starting up, but never passed that point, instead it beeps and goes back to the begining. After a third attempt to boot it up, it errored with a error code displayed, saying Post err:02FE  and the display turning red.
How can I resolve this issue. Its got very important data thats need first thing on Monday. It runs windows server 2003.

Wow!  The only hits I got on Google were for the Japanese site and I hope the link to the translation works:

But; according to that page there is no 02FE error.  What is the exact model of the Terastation?

Did they say exactly what was the cause? I have the same issue, right down to the error code "POST ERR:02FE". I will have to call in and see if I can get this fixed.

Funny, all we did was shut it down for a power outage in the building and when I put it back on line the next day, this is the result. It did finally boot once, but pinging resulted in 2-3 replies ot of a 100+ pings. Oh well!

If I find out what the cause is exactly, i will post it here for future reference.

Best to all...
