Hi ajaybelde,

I understand your grid monitoring architecture has been build completely (I mean, you have grid control plus the grid control agents in the database monitored).

Well, what you need it's almost done. You just have to set up:

- Administrators, in the tab "setup"  there's a link named "administrators". Create your accound and your mail address.
- Set up "suscriptions", to make your administrator user is suscribed to alert groups (database usage alarms, OS alarms, network alarms, etc.)
- Set up "notification methods", to configure mail servers and else.

All kind of targets (database/listeners/etc.) have a monitoring template by default, that makes these basic alarms already implemented.

Please, try to set up these points, and let me know if you succeed!

Kind regards,
