i am trying to setup a new computer moving from office 2007 to 2010 to a new computer
i have 7 email address setup to send and receive one is sbcglobal.net all others are other domains.
the sbcglobal account workes fine setup using ssl port 995 and port 587
when i setup the other accounts they cant send mail i setup the smtp accont info in the more settings to use the sbcglobal accont name and password also using port 995 and port 587
i also tried 465 i have tried using difrent smtp settings 1. smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com     2 outbound.att.net    3 the domain smtp.mydomain.com

1. Compare again the port settings between Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 to ensure they are exactly the same.
2. Check (Account Settings) where you authenticate the sender and see if you need to do that. I do, for example. If this is not set up you cannot send.

Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 have very similar send mechanisms. If one will work, so also will the other.

I should also note that Outlook 2010 sets up a different PST file for each new email account by default. So by now you may have as many as 7 PST files and your mail may have been sent and has gone to a place you did not expect.

Look in Documents for an Outlook folder to see what PST files are present. ... Thinkpads_User

I checked them both now i am having the same problem on the old computer cant send from any account except the user@sbcglobal.com account
this is the return mess i get when trying to test the account settings
send test e-mail message. cannot send the message. verify the e-mail address in your account propertyies. The server responded 553from address not verified - see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/manage/sendfrom-07.html

i saw somthing in the support that the alternat email address had to be regedistered ?

i have never had this problem before i am so confused.
Check your authentication very carefully. In Outook 2010 (or 2007) check Account Settings -> More Settings -> Outgoing Server to make sure you have set this up properly. See below:

This seems the most likely error at this point.  Also look in the support and re-verify your port setup.

I have checked the settimgs screen by screen
the working account is usernam@sbcglobal.net is setup using the accont setting listed by att.com and the account workes
but none of the other accounts work
Also each account was pointing to a new pst file i have set all account to point to one pst file outlook.pst
if i change the port number i get a diffrent message
error message to port 587

this is the error i get on port 465

The only things that affect sending (any Outlook version) are email address, smtp server, authentication and port settings. If these are all correct, take one of the accounts and verify the settings with the email supplier. Outlook works great, so if it will not send, it is in those settings. ... Thinkpads_User

received this error message, you will continue to receive it for emails sent

In addition to all the settings I gave above, you may need to verify with your supplier. That is suggested above, but I do not have to do that. I do have to authenticate in the Account Settings, but I have already covered that setting.
