How to Insert data from external application into ERP Application

I need to insert some fields of data (lets say from Mobile Phone UI or Windows Application) from outside(Externally) into the already developed/working (Installed) ERP Invoicing application.
When I open the ERP application those fields should automatically appear in the application for the particular order in the form.
Currently the the external data is entering manually into the ERP application.
I need to integrate from the different place to ERP Application using some another application, like C# Windows Application or Mobile Phone UI. We have access to ERP database. How can I approach this for the solution to the problem.

1. The owner can connect his phone to PC and downloaded / synchronized his data:

http://www.wirelessemporium.com/references/cell-phone-software.asp

2. Then you can read data from PC file and insert them to DB.

I used
(a) USB
(b) blue tooth

to synchronize my cell with PC- it is a quite standard function for modern cell phones.

No, my question is how to code for ERP intergration. I would like to integrate some external input data to my existing ERP application like invoice application.   Currently we are writing data on a piece of paper then the invoice generator person will insert the data manually seeing the paper. Now I need to computerize this process. Let's say the persons who are writing  some fields of data manually should  be computerized like lets say i have developed an application (may be phone app or other desktop application) so these application data need to be integrated in the ERP database, next time when the invoice generator person when generating the invoice,  those fields who have inserted at remote application (that is phone app or desktop app) should appear on the invoice ERP application automatically. How can do this using c# code.

Desktop application:

Use MS Visual Studio 2010/2008/2005. It support C# projects as for Windows application as for Web DOTNET application - it provides User Inteface.
It also provides ability to connect to a database.  If your ERP system uses MS SQL Server, for example, then your application connects to the database and can INSERT/SELECT/UPDATE/DELETE records. - Your fields, for example.

But you must be careful - you can damage your data.

There is SDLC - it combines best practice and describes technology how to develop reliable software.
If you new in this area it is better to hire someone experienced and work together. There are many details in it that you need to know. Object approach, normalization rules, document flow, tracing the changes, etc. For example, you found mistake in an invoice. Who made it?

Let's say you developed your program. Who will use it? Let's say 10 accountants. 1st inserted 100. Can 2nd change it to 120? You sent invoice. 3 days - no payment. Where is your invoice? Invoice has been sent. Account decided cancel it. Will you support that?

Insert data in the fields is the simplest task. But the complete system is much bigger. I am working with such tasks 20 years. They all look simple in the beginning but you must follow to financial principals to make a good system.

I consider your points. Do we have any automated ERP Integration tools for .Net?

It is SSIS.

But DOTNET has no idea about existance of ERP. In SSIS, VS or DOTNET somebody must translate technical requirements to the code.
