Got error when I change password for SA in sql 2005 Management Studio

I have version 9.0.5000
Login into SQL Server using Windows Authentication.  Is this sql server not setup for mix mode?  I thought I did select that mode.  But I can't remember what the sa password is.  How can I reset that?  Thanks

Connect to SQL Management studio using windows authentication, give the AD user all the priviliges in the server properties,script and apply.
Then go to user management,expand list,open properties for SA user,and change password.
After all this,log on again with SA user.

Hi, I did "give the AD user all the priviliges in the server properties"  but where is "script" that I need to give myself permission?  Right now I still get the same error.  thanks.

script is a button in the properties page,you press on it before pressing apply.
but it's not mandatory.

Hi , I didn't see the script button but I check the Map to Credential checkbox and I am able to change the password.  However, the sa user is disabled.  I enable and save but got error 15535, error as below:

uinstall and then install new mssql with new password
