remove border around form submit image

not sure why but there is a border around the form submit button (which is an image) on my page. Any way to get rid of that?  I notice it in all browsers.  Also, in Chrome, I see the word Submit hovering over the image.  And in IE8 there appears to be a space showing up or some strange character.

Any idea how to fix it?
<style type=\'text/css\'>

Start by modifying...

src\'/images/submit.png\'

to

src='/images/submit.png'

Based on this markup I didn't found any issues:
<style type='text/css'>
.headertext_b {
color: #FFFFFF;
font-weight: bold;
font-style: italic;
font-size: 16px;
font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Verdana;
text-shadow: #002838 1px 1px;
}
table.header_bkg {
background: url('/images/logo.png') no-repeat left top;
border-spacing:0;
padding: 0;
color: #FFFFFF;
}
.inputtext {
width: 128px;
height: 18px;
text-align: left;
margin: 0;
border: 0px;
background:#fff;
}
.formsubmit {
width: 46px;
height: 20px;
cursor:pointer;
margin: 0;
border: 0;
}
</style>

<table class='header_bkg' cellpadding='0' height='150' cellspacing='0' border='0' width='960' align='center'>
<tbody>
<form name='loginform' id='loginform' action='wp-login.php' method='post'>
<input type='hidden' name='testcookie' value='1' />
<input type='hidden' name='page' id='page' value='enter' />
<tr>
<td valign='top' align='left' width='621' height='150'>&nbsp;</td>
<td valign='top' align='left' width='130' ><div style='padding-top:106px;'><input type='text' name='log' id='user_login' class='inputtext' value='' tabindex='0' /></div></td>
<td valign='top' align='left' width='13' >&nbsp;</td>
<td valign='top' align='left' width='130' ><div style='padding-top:106px;'><input type='password' name='pwd' id='user_pass' class='inputtext' value='' tabindex='1' /><br /><div style='padding-bottom:41px;'><a href='http://membersmix.seozones.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword' title='forgot your password? click here'><img src='/images/spacer.gif' border='0' width='130' height='16'></a></div></div></td>
<td valign='top' align='left' width='8' >&nbsp;</td>
<td valign='top' align='left' width='46' ><div style='padding-top:106px;'><input type='image' src='/images/submit.png' alt'' title'' name='wp-submit' id='1' class='formsubmit' /></div></td>

Try using
.formsubmit {
width: 46px;
height: 20px;
cursor:pointer;
margin: 0;
border: none;
}
