Digital Signing Flash Files

I wan't to sign a Macromedia Flash 8 file, published as a projector (exe) file, with a digital certificate using signtool. The problem is that once the file has been signed it won't execute correctly. Instead of displaying the correct content, an empty white window is displayed.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks!

Are you using the signtool from the MS SDK like shown here?
