webmail items messed up when logging without domain name

hello,
after changing the certificate on our exchange 2003 the following problem occurs.
when a user logs on using DOMAINNAME\username everything works fine.
when user logs on without DOMAINNAME then webmail interface page is all messed up.
please see the attached image.

You need to change the logon.asp file and it would work fine

Run: IPCONFIG /ALL at a command prompt and you get the hostname (which is the Netbios Name)
