I need a formula that i can use with conditional formating

If a certain cel contains a value,  I want the cells in the same row to become yellow.

=$A2<>""               'Note the absolute reference ($) to the column and relative reference to the row

The reference to row 2 in above formula should be to the top left cell in the range selected when you opened the Conditional Formatting menu item.
