MY SBS 2008 with Forefront for Exchange 2010 threw out this error yesterday afternoon and again last night.

Get Engine Files error code 6014.

Event Details:    Microsoft Forefront Protection encountered an error while performing a scan engine update. Scan Engine: Kaspersky Update Path: http://forefrontdl.microsoft.com/server/scanengineupdate/x86/Kaspersky Proxy Settings: Disabled Error Code: 0x80004005 The digital signature associated with the engine manifest file is either missing or invalid, or the file is corrupt. (0x0000000b) An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. Unable to calculate hash of ''C:\Windows\TEMP\syb34D7.tmp''

How do I replace the "engine manifest file?"  It's a temporary file so will deleting it permit a replacement to be created?

That seems to have worked but I now have the following error.

Get Engine Files error code 6014.

Microsoft Forefront Protection encountered an error while performing a scan engine update. Scan Engine: Kaspersky Update Path: http://forefrontdl.microsoft.com/server/scanengineupdate/x86/Kaspersky Proxy Settings: Disabled Error Code: 0x80004005 UpdateException: The package version (1109080007) retrieved from http://forefrontdl.microsoft.com/server/scanengineupdate/x86/Kaspersky/Package/1109080007/ is older than the local version (1109080009).

How can that happen?

Following a Kaspersky engine update this morning the error has been eliminated.
