Need to clone 78 dell Optiplex 380s with Ghost 11.5.  Server is running 2008 R2, the Optiplex image is Windows 7.  I can successfully create an image to the server, but receive an "Internal Error 25002" when trying to restore an image (GhostCast).

Even tried a PC to PC Ghostcast and received the same error.  Also, I can open the image without errors using ghost explorer.

Any ideas?  Need to have this completed in 12 hours....

Try to start Ghost with the -ntc- switch. (ghost.exe -ntc-)

Run checkdisk from Windows (right click on partition -> Properties -> Tab Tools -> 'Check now') to see if there are errors on the disk and then try to run Ghost again.

After running chkdsk and defrag we were able to ghost without errors.  Both utilities did not find errors on the PC, but it did give us the ability to ghost.

After doing some research is seams like Ghost is more sensitive to restoring NTFS volumes than creating image files.
