Toshiba p10-804 how to remove the hard dirve

Im at a loss to find the hard drive.

Anyone have a schematic or know hhere the hdd is ?

Can you take a picture of the bottom of the system?  I'm unable to find the exact model match for yours.  And the P10's in series look different depending on model.

sys is dead and i want to nuke the hdd.

cant for the life of me find the hdd.  Ive removed all covers on the back.  no sign of it

If you took all the panels out and pulled everything out and still nothing, chances are that hdd may be further deep inside.  You should be able to pry the sides and top open, removing the keyboard in the process.  At some point you'll finally have this thing in pieces and should get to the hdd.

You could also just take a sledge hammer and smash it if you're not planning on using the computer every again.  It helps take some stress out when you do it =]

Nice one brother.

Im up a 60 gig ide 2.5 hdd now for parts so was worth the dig out.

I nearly did take a hammer to it!
