wordpres author photo plugin

I'm trying to find a wordpress plugin to be used for uploading an author photo.  So every time a blog post or comment is made it would display next to it but also, in the sidebar area.

I would like the ability to click on a link in the sidebar widget area to upload the photo which would also resize it.

Are there any out there that do that?

ok, however I'm also using s2member plugin and have shut down the admin area for my Level 1 members (non-admins).  s2member has an extra layer of protection from any non-admin member entering into any of the pages in /wp-admin/

so s2member redirects to another profile page but they don't have a feature to upload a photo - disturbing, I know :(

So I was thinking ... on their profile page, using a sidebar photo upload widget to upload and display a photo.  That photo could then be used as the author photo.
If you want to continue to use s2member, you would need to reprogram or reconfigure it in order to obtain the features your are describing.
do you mean reprogram user-photo plugin?
No, the s2member plugin.  You would need to reconfigure the role capabilities so that the user could have access to the photo configuration features.
I have the plugin called User Role Editor installed and for Level 1 users, checkmarked Upload Files but I don't see that feature in the s2member profile page.
That's why I said you would need to reprogram the plugin.

Unfortunately, there are no easy answers here.  There are no plugins available (that I am aware of) that will do exactly what you are proposing.  In order to obtain these features, you will need to program them yourself.
ok
Thanks!
