I am trying to figure out implmeenting tab bar at the bottom?? What is the best way to do so?? thanks.

my understanding it that standard TabHost control doesn't support it, but it of course doesn't mean you cannot do it if you're determined :)

go to http://www.google.com/codesearch#/ and search for TabHost source code, then make your copy and implement what you want

Displaying an arrayList in a listView using the default adapter is rarely the best solution. To get full control of your display data, and to be able to refresh it after editing, requires the use of a custom adapter.
