DDWRT on Linksys E3000
Please see question ID: 27282619.
I would like to know exactly what version I need to flash to + how to flash to the latest stable version for my router.
Can I just flash to the new version and all my settings are stored?
Please also note that I would like to connect to it on port 443/80/ssh. Do I need to adjust iptables/firewall?
Thanks,
J.

K26 build 14567 - Minimum version.
dd-wrt has own format of settings - so, your settings are NOT stored.

I did some changes to iptables to be able to have access to openvpn.
Now I cannot access a Teamviewer or Logmein session.
I would like to start from scratch. I know there is a good installation page but I would like a shortcut here.
Please tell me:
-what is the latest stable release for Linksys E3000 (in routerdatabase is the bèta version + they told me the latest stable release published is only the one of the date somebody felt like updating the wikipage)
-how to upgrade: a 30/30/30 upgrade/flash then a 30/30/30?
-how do I make sure access is granted to my dd-wrt router is securely opened + open access for logmein + teamviewer
Thanks,
J.

You mention:
"Latest stable release v24 SP1 (Build10020)", then you mention "so, at this time - no stable release for E3000.

I`m use Asus RT-N16, and for my router dd-wrt also not have stable release. Also, dd-rwt firmware have weak response for my torrents and sof, working on router directry.

To pilosn66, ah?!
Please tell me which one! I'd love to have a stable release which has all basic features of my router (300 mbs wireless, 1gb lan, normal behavior for accesses) but extend them with ddwrt-features.
Which OS you're talking about?
