Hi everyone,

I have a problem when trying to install the Intel D2745_GS3 on VMware ESX/ESXi 4.1. But it work on ESX/ESXi 4.0 ...

I've download vmware-esx-drivers-net-igb_400 2 1 9 8-1 0 4 164009 246732(1).iso

See attachment to see the error when i'm trying to update the driver with vmware vcenter update manager. I've tried with the console too.

Thank you,

Yeah this is really the D2745-A11 GS3

It works fine with ESX 4.0 ... but when we try to install the vmware driver : vmware-esx-drivers-net-igb_400 2 1 9 8-1 0 4 164009 246732(1).iso with vmware update manager on ESX/ESXi 4.1 it doesn't work. This driver will let's vmware server to see the network port on the card.

My colleague have worked on that, but now he's on vacation so i'm trying to fix that bug until he come back. So i can't give you all steps he have done ...

Hi

Sorry I cannot find any Intel with that reference.

And most of the times, Network that work with ESX 4.0, doesn't work with other versions.
