Chrome bookmarks bar

i have to recheck the setting for my bookmarks bar to Always show bookmarks bar. every time i start up a new browser.  this setting never sticks

Do you have the latest Chrome?
Always download the latest here:

http://www.filehippo.com/download_google_chrome/

Don't forget to remove your current version completely !

P.S. If you have the latest version or you don't want to remove it do the following:

1) restore your browser's default settings. follow the instructions below:
http://browserland.com/google-chrome/restore-google-chrome-default-settings/

2) Disable the bookmarks tab, close your browser completely, then open the chrome then enable the bookmarks, then close it again.
And see if it's corrected
