lock (this)
            {
                GlobalMethods.SendEmailMessageToSales("TotalLink Information Request", body, false, "sales@total-computing.com", tbName.Text, tbEmail.Text);
            }

In an asp.net web page, does this code work as it should?  Does a request to "lock" even get honored?  If not, can I force a page to "wait" until SendEmailMessageToSales returns a value (currently it does not).
