The answer will vary greatly, depending on the answers to the following questions:

1

What Exchange Server version are you running?

2

Is your backup method granular (brick-level) or information store level?

3

Do you have enough disk space on your Exchange Server to hold another copy of the store?

Hi friend I have managed to get this sorted now. I was due to close the question today.

The issue was in the exchange redirection. I put the address company.email@mydomain.com instead of just company.email

Thanks for the support annway.
