Certificate Authority Transfer to Another server

Hi,

Im doing a server migration on a server that is currently a server 2003 certificate authority.  This server will be decommissioned and brought off line.  I want to transfer the responsibility of cert auth to the NEW server and have the CURRENT certificates issues still valid and somehow transfer the template to the new server.  Something like that.

What is involve?  I have not found any info on TRANSFERING the standalone CA to another server and have that server be responsible for issuing new certificates.

Thanks!
