Have recently rebuilt my four DC's, installing WS2K8R2 x64 on each of them.
Have also updated the PolicyDefnitions folder located in \\<DC>\sysvol\<Domain>\Policies\ with the latest ADMX & ADML files.

As a result I am finding that certain policy settings are no longer being applied to my WS2K3 servers.
For example, on a Terminal Server, the Time Redirection policy is no longer being applied and when i examine the GPO containing the policy settings, it now states in the "Supported On:" field that "At least Windows Server 2008" is required for the policy setting.

Is there a way to get back the functionaluity needed for the policy to be applied to my WS2K3 Terminal Server?

I did make a backup of the old PolicyDefinitions folder before I updated the ADMX & ADML files.

You need to install GPO clientside extensions.

Darius,

Thank you! This worked. We are now able to apply all of our GPOs to our WS2K3 TS.

Regards,

Mike
