Joomla - Virtuemart - product_description doesn't take formatting

Hello,

In the product flypage I set

      <tr>
        <td style="font-size:18px;">
              <?php echo $product_description ?> <br/>
         <span style="font-style: italic;"><?php echo $file_list ?></span>
        </td>
      </tr>

However it doesn't get the 18px because somehow VM puts the product_description in paragraphp like this:

<td style="font-size:18px;">
              <!--ML K--> <p>Rendelheto méretek:<br>2<br><br>20 DEN-es harisnyanadrág<br><br>Szín:<br>Black - Fekete</p> <br>
         <span style="font-style: italic;"></span>
        </td>

If I remove the <p> in FireBug, the font will get the correct size.

Can you help me in this ?

Thank you

its because you have  a <p> in the product description
and get this

body, p {
    font-family: "Times New Roman",Times,serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    font-style: normal;
    font-weight: normal;
    line-height: 150%;
    margin: 1em 0;
}

The problem is that if I increase the font size in body, p, then everything will get bigger, even the left side menu.

Can I somehow set the product_description not to enclose it in <p>?
Or can I make another style *only* for product_description?
