I am writing a rental/service app where I need to display the various rentals, service orders and other tasks due.  The app is written in visual studio 2008, visual basic and is accessing MS SQL.  I want the user to have the ability to look at a Month Date Calendar and select a day then have the activities for that day show in a list.  Preferably by time.  Please advise as to a good starting point.
