we're running a IE9 browser inside a C# app. What we find is that although we clear the cache the content does not update.
anyone think of any reason why

um i'm not sure i understand.
I'm just the flash developer in the big picture, and my stuff is being cached in the browser inside the C#.
the C# accesses Stored procs and sends data to the flash, but the actual flash content itself doesn't update.

There are web caching products which caches the site you visited so next time you visit that site and the contents are not changed it will present contents from its cache

Flash cached contents needs to be clear from flash player settings. open any flash content site, right click on global settings and you will see option to clear cache
