What are the things that need to be considered for testing android mobile applications and what are the main things that we need to test for GPS based Android Mobile Applications. Please give the testing checklist for Mobile Applications (Android).

if I were you, I'd perform the following testing tasks:

- unit testing with JUnit, ie cover as many methods in your classes as possible, TDD is the way forward, although it's not (or maybe nearly never :) ) always possible in practice because of tough time schedules and so on

- for GPS, you'd need to test the behaviour of "no GPS", "get last known position", "geocoding" (if you need it), "invalid GPS data"

That's all I can think of from the top of my head.
