Cold Migrate fails

Hi all

I'm trying to cold migrate a VM to another host and datastore.

I have already done this for another VM whcih was fine.

On this VM, the migrate option is greyed out frm the right click menu. However I can run through the procedure from clicking "Migrate" on the VM Summary Page.

Faails with error

"The method is disabled by "Data Recovery""
Call "VirtualMachine.Relocate" for object "Sage" on vCenter Server "vCenter.evo.local" failed.

VMware Data Recovery is not currently active, and has a job to backup the VM?

VDR is not turned on at the moment, and I believe that it no longer has a backup job for this VM either!

Ah. I just powered on the VDR VM and it immediately started a "Remove Snapshot" operation for the VM in question!

That's probably it...

The appliance still has a lock on the VM!
