I have A Windows XP Home SP3 box
and a 2003 Server Standard in Workgroup mode.
I have created a User named "user1) with admin rghts

When I boot up XP box and it attempts to restore drives it does not.
I have to double click on Drive With RED X on it and put in my login and password.
It works great all day but when I boot up in the morning I have to do this all over again.

How can I set it up so login and password is passed upon bootup.

I have tried Power toys but it does not seem to work.

You could add a little batch file to your startup group to reconnect at startup.  It would be like this:

net use d: \\server\share /user:username password
