Suggestions needed for Website header

Hi,

I need suggestions for header of a website -  looks and design.   This is a classifieds/listing site.

You can have a look at the below link for current header design(not much actually)...

http://173.192.200.205/~designer/design1/

As you can see there are two menu links(Home, Post AD) on left  and two menu links on right (Login, Sign Up).

Once the user logins, the links on the right change to Account Details, Logout etc.

I'm looking for some suggestions and possibly help with implementation for design of the header area. It  should display the menu links as mentioned above as well as fit a logo(like one that's there currently).

The header would remain consistent throughout all the pages of the site.

I came up with something like the link below, but i'm looking for something better(difficult to describe but possibly accomodate more menu links if needed, attractive, looks a bit filled :)

All help appreciated.

Thanks.

So, you want to me show you one design after the other, and you will tell me which one is good?? You need to let me know your requirement

I've already had a look at the link you provided and it doesn't solve my purpose.  I've had a look at all the designs... that link mostly talks about design theory and at the moment my requirement is to produce a header... I can read all that theory when i've got spare time .

I'm not sure how you can help me, it actually depends how you think you could help me.

@ee-itpro: It sounds like you want the work done for you instead of help.  Gurvinder was offering help in the way of teaching you, which is what we like to do here when the situation permits. However, we have no idea what your ultimate goal is.  We each volunteer our time on here, but try our best to provide you with quality answers to your questions. We want to help, but 99% of us won't just "do it" for you.

>>but i'm not a designer basically
Not everyone is. But if we don't know what your ultimate goal is, it's that much harder to help you. Design is completely subjective to the person viewing it.

We can give suggestions all day long, however if we don't know your ultimate goal or requirements, it's that much harder to help you.

There's about 100 more headers for you to look at. Hopefully this helps.
