Outlook 2010 crashes when hovering mouse over contact card

All users are on Outlook 2010 and we have Exchange 2007 running Server 2003.  When users hover over an email address, the contact card pops-up for a second and then Outlook freezes and reboots and throws this error in the event viewer:

When I start outlook in safe mode, this is not a problem as the pop-up contact cards are disabled.  I did a google search and followed some of the articles\forums I found such as this one: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/outlook/thread/0961a9a4-3160-41ac-8d65-85f8f335436b/ but nothing has worked.
I have also disabled all add-ins.
Any ideas?

Hello,

Take backup of your mails.

Delete all temporary files.

Run sfc/scannow & reinstall MS - office 2010

I appreciate the comment, but I'm not sure this is a viable solution as we have 100's of users that we'd have to perform this for.

I think so this is happening due to windows or microsoft upadate.

Uninstall updates from one computer & then check.

Another thing is Virus or spyware, please check for virus problem.

The only update that I've found to be a problem according to some articles is "Update for Microsoft Windows (KB948609)" but this is not installed on either the server nor the PC.
