Windows 2008 print server issues with alignment

I've put a w2k8 server in place as a print server to replace my w2k one.
Everything seems to be OK except our dot matrix printers we use for carbonised stationery
Things do not line up in columns any more
It's like TAB is being ignored if that makes sense.

The only thing I can see different is paper size.
Old w2k was set to 8 x 112/3
New printer doesnt give that option - althought it is listed in the forms section.

Attached is a print of how it used to look oposed to how it looks now.

Can anyone assist with this.
All other printing is fine.
So far

Thanks!

Are you using the appropriate driver for your dot matrix printer?
